OneHealth would like to advise our enrolled patients of the following:
- Our GP service closes at 4.30pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and re-opens on Monday 6 January 2025.
- Please order your repeat prescriptions, by Friday 20th December 2024, to ensure you have sufficient medication to last you through the Holiday Season.
- Repeat Script requests are managed within 2 weekdays and for scripts required more urgently, an additional $10.00 urgent script fee is incurred. There is no charge for repeat scripts managed for children aged 13 years and under. However, if a child’s script is required urgently then the urgent script fee will be incurred.
- Repeat scripts ordered after 5pm, on Monday 23rd December, will incur an urgent script fee. Scripts ordered after midday on Tuesday 24 December 2024 will be managed on 6 January 2025.
- Patients are encouraged to join OneHealth’s secure Patient Portal: Manage My Health. Within the portal, you can request repeat scripts, book appointments, and view personal medical information, including laboratory results. Results are visible once reviewed and filed by your GP. NB: We only contact patients whose results require further treatment or follow-up as per OneHealth’s Results policy. We prefer not to email patients their results, so if you have yet to register for the portal, please email: info@onehealthgp.co.nz.
- OneHealth’s Urgent Care service remains open 8am – 8pm every day, throughout the holiday season, including Christmas Day. However, for continuity of care, Urgent Care services are not appropriate for the purpose of obtaining Repeat Scripts. However, should a patient present for a repeat script, they can only be provided with a one-month interim script and an Urgent Care consult fee will be incurred.
- National Public Health has declared a Pertussis (whooping cough) epidemic across Aotearoa. For more information refer: Pertussis national public health advisory F Nov 2024.pdf
- Unfortunately, patient debt is on the rise. Just a reminder that payment is required on the day of consultation and invoices, for repeat prescriptions and telehealth consults, must be paid within 7 days. If you are having difficulty settling your account, then please let us know, as we may be able to assist with a payment plan and avoid you incurring further fees.
- In our bulk communication to Dr Anna Twhigg’s patients, following her retirement from General Practice, we asked patients to advise us of their preferred GP ie Dr Yunn Wen Lai (female) or Dr Thomas Lee (male). If you have yet to do this, then please email info@onehealthgp.co.nz so we can update your records accordingly.
- During December a Women’s Refuge Christmas collection box will be in the foyer and all contributions appreciated.
